Ryan Arnold, 34, died on August 2, four days after the surgery to give his brother part of his liver. He was a husband and father of three little boys, ages 1, 4 and 6.
Please pray for this entire family. From the news article it sounds like they have great faith. "Heavenly Father, Hold them all close to You, protecting them from fear and doubt. Let this be an unforgettable example to all of us to freely lay down our lives for one another. May Mrs. Arnold and the three boys draw strength, love and perseverance from Your everlasting faithfulness and mercy. Hold us all close in Your love, Amen."
Oh, my heart goes out to that family. That's not supposed to happen when you're trying to help someone else! Oh, God! Why?

This is INDEED a gift of love given. I believe Ryan will be richly rewarded in heaven. However, my heart goes out to the family and especially the three young boys. But what legacy Ryan has left for the children!
