Run - Carter Conlon
Every Saturday is devoted to setting time aside for rest and seeking God.
This is an appropriate memorial for 9/11. Although rest and running seem like opposite actions, in the Christian life you rest in Christ while you run your race and fight your battles. Hebrews 12:1-3
Rest well this weekend, dear one.

Wow... just WOW. That was emotional! You could hear the pain in his voice. I sent it to my pastor. How did you find this?
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, I'm pretty sure it was Joannah who posted it on facebook a couple weeks ago. As I viewed it again I thought maybe I should have found something more to do with grief or even some of the very moving 9/11 memorials out there, but. . . this was what I ended up with. I hope it meant as much to everyone else as it did to you. Grief is hard, but we can't give up, we can't quit, we've got to run to a lost world with God's message of hope! Hugs to you.
