Depression - FamilyLife.com

Dear One,
On Mondays we address grief topics, so today I've provided an excellent link on depression.
I'm not saying you have to be depressed, or you will be depressed. I believe it's entirely possible to go through grief without actual depression, depending on a number of factors. Depression is not the same as sadness.
However, depression is pretty common here in America, whether you're in mourning or not. So if you wonder if you have the symptoms of depression, or if you just want to educate yourself for loved ones around you that might be suffering with it, this is an article to keep at your fingertips.

Also, go to the CCEF website for some other resources. "Ask The Counselor" podcasts answer questions from real people. You'll also find posts on loneliness, knowing the will of God, endurance in suffering and much more. This is a great website with Christian counseling help and I really appreciate their generous help by providing all this information to the public.

Check back here each day for help and fellowship. Always feel free to e-mail me at wcplace@gmail.com with questions or suggestions, and friend me on Facebook: Ferree Hardy.
Thanks for visiting. God is with you, dear one.
