And now that I've typed down a few lines to avoid the spammers looking for key words to latch onto, let me tell you that the link today deals particularly with the private pain of abortion. Worship leader and musician, Gwen Smith, shares her personal story in this entry from Jan. 31st.
Lord,
Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. (Psalm 34:5, NIV)
We all need forgiveness. Search our hearts, try our thoughts, cleanse our souls through the applied atonement of your Son, our Saviour Jesus. In His name, Amen

I think forgiveness is a part of the grief journey, too. I had some anger after Michael passed. I was angry with him for taking so long to make important decisions that affected us. I was angry with some of his family members and a person from his past. Those issues were just salt on my wounds. Thankfully, I've worked through them and come to a place of acceptance and forgiveness. :)
ReplyDeleteSo true, Joannah. Sometimes it's pretty surprising to discover and face some of the issues, but through Christ forgiving and finding forgiveness really do move us to a place of acceptance, strength and peace. Thanks for sharing. Hope you're feeling better. :)
