I must have marriage on my mind this week. Plus a reader sent me this great title--so we'll just have to talk about it sometime soon, won't we?
In the meantime, Wendy posted this news from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on her Facebook status, and I thought it was too cute to not pass along.
Tom and I met on the Internet one summer and got married as quickly as this couple. At this point in the summer of that year I didn't know he existed, but in less than 10 months we met and married. Not blankly recommending that, it's just that love happens. You could be next! But, as we'll talk about in a few weeks, would you even want that?

To remarry or not? I am not saying, never, but God will have to put the right man in my path.I would not want anyone, other than who God has for me.
ReplyDeleteFor right now,I am still learning to live as a single again.
Cute! I don't know if I'd want to marry at 90! Like Ruth, if God plunked him in front if me and said "this one" then okay. Wouldn't actually seek anyone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your website, I'm glad you are posting more often on the blog.
ReplyDeleteI won't remarry. Even when Ben was still alive I knew I would never remarry if anything ever happened to him. He was the love of my life, my partner, my best friend. I will be married to him until the day I join him in Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI love stories like these! So sweet.
ReplyDeleteAs for me, if the Lord has a good man in mind for me, I'm open to it. But it is not something I will seek after myself. Been there, done that. The southern California dating scene is not something I'm up for anymore. Actually, I'm just hoping for the Lord's return for His church so my daughter and I can be in the perfect place He's prepared for us, and be with Michael (of course!).
