Word of Life Retreat Weekend for Single Moms AND Their Kids!

OK, girlfriends, sock some money away and get registered for a great weekend of spiritual refreshment and strength for your journey!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this will be, but I can tell you I found out about it through one of those God-thing "coincidences" when a Word of Life staffer called the wrong number yesterday morning and got hold of ME instead of my husband's brother-in-law! How do you go from the wrong number to talking about widows? Only God makes it so! Isn't He amazing?

Mike Bush, the Word of Life staffer I spoke with yesterday said that about a third of those who attend are widows. He also shared Word of Life's passion for following God's directive for pure religion in James 1:27-- to care for widows and orphans in their distress. This is one place where you will not be overlooked, dear widow!

    Ferree, I just found out last week about Sandra's book written for widows with children called FROM ONE SINGLE MOTHER TO ANOTHER and posted about it on Lifeboat in the last few days.

    That's quite a coincidence, Candy, possible another "God thing." :)
    I haven't been on Lifeboat lately with all my travels, so I'm glad to know they've heard about it.
