WILL I EVER BE WHOLE AGAIN?

Continuing with our Free Book Give-Away, here's a little video featuring a book by author and speaker, Sandra Aldrich, "Will I Ever Be Whole Again?" Your comments during this month are all entries into our drawing for a free book on August 2. Enter today!

Younger moms out there might be especially interested in winning the book, "From One Single Mother to Another." Here's a tidbit from the excerpt:
". . .  my relatives expected me to remarry quickly after Don's death. But as I pondered my future, I realized I had been Mitchell's daughter, Fred's girl, Don's wife, Jay's mother. . . . I wanted to find out who Sandra was. So I determined I would concentrate on my relationship with the Lord and take care of my young children for a full decade. What caused me to choose 10 years as my non-dating goal? . . . "
When Sandra's husband died from brain cancer her life changed forever. It wasn't a path she wanted, but when she realized it was the path God put her on and He would walk it with her---her life as a widow, mom and school teacher began to blossom with possibilities and adventures she could have never imagined!

Is there a quiet voice, a small flicker of hope that swells inside of you when you imagine your life ten years from now? Maybe God really does have good things in store for you? Maybe someday you really will feel like a whole person again?

Those gentle urgings are from the Holy Spirit, the Encourager who comes alongside you. Don't quench them; a life beyond anything you could ever imagine awaits you!
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him (I Cor. 2:9)

  2. When was the last time we thanked the Lord for not showing us the future? I'm convinced that one of the best things God does for us is to keep us from knowing what will happen beyond today. Just think of all the stuff we didn't have to worry about just because we never knew it was coming our way!

  3. Thank you for such wonderful books just watching the video and reading what you have from the second book is uplifting. So good to know there is light at the end of 'this tunnel'.
