I posted this video last year on Black Friday and am doing so again because it's fun to watch and it poses such a good question~~What were you created to do?~~
I'm sure some people were created to shop! Are you one of them?
What else do you like to do? What activities help you feel alive?
Dance? Painting? Writing? Singing? Cooking? Photography? Interior Decorating? Camping? Travel? Group discussions or lectures? Quilting? Knitting? Animal rescue? Gardening? Reading? etc . . .
Let's all list at least one favorite creative activity in the comment box below. Feel free to add your blog or website, or email me a picture of your creations so I can post them next week. Sometimes during grief it's hard to recall what we enjoyed, so this will be a good help and it'll be fun to see the variety.

Thank you so much for reposting this, Ferree! I loved it! I want to show this to my seven and 4 year old grandchildren the next time i visit. I'm sure it will inspire a fun artwork day with them. Thank you! This made me smile today.
ReplyDeleteAt this time of year when we focus more on all we are thankful for, I am thankful for you and your ministry for us widows and widowers. Thank you for all you do for us. We love and appreciate you! Hope your Thanksgiving was extra special.
Hugs, Renee'
Thank you Renee', I hope your grandkids enjoy the video and create some fun from it! I'd love to see their artwork! You're a blessing! -Ferree
ReplyDeleteAwesome video and its nice to be reminded that God has given each of us a special gift to create. For me its papercrafting, which has been neglected since hubby became ill and then passed away 9 weeks ago. I need to get back to doing the thing I love to do. www.stampingfromtheheart.blogspot.com
