Do You Have to See It to Believe It?

The weekend reminds us to cut some time in the schedule and "Come apart and get away before you come apart." It's a time to read a verse, say a prayer or just sit down for a moment of nothing. Take a deep breath, relax those shoulders. Here's a sweet little poem that's good to think about. Rest in the hope of heaven. ferree

I Never Saw A Moor

I never saw a moor
I never saw the sea;
yet know I how the heather looks
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in Heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.
Emily Dickinson

  1. Thank you for reminding me of this poem. I recited it in my early youth. I feel like God has been there with me preparing me for this time in my life. What a God experience you have provided me with today. Blessings to you and your ministry. Teri Ollila

  2. Dear Teri, It's always so special to hear how God puts just the right words with just the right people at just the right time. Even though you were so young when you had to learn that poem, it's not a coincidence! God knew that this day, on this blog, it would be a sweet reminder of His special watchcare over you today. That's so wonderful! Thank you for letting me know!
