gratitude
as an effective help through grief. Not that you're happy your loved one died, but rather you're grateful for the life you had together. You express that by choosing to honor the love you had with a passion for life in the here and now. I know its a hard thing to make that choice when emotions are so strong but it'll become easier bit by bit when you jot down the bits of blessing you see each day. A
Blessings Bottle
sitting next to your kitchen sink will help you do that. I've done this for two years now and I'm looking forward to a shelf full of these bottles as I collect them in the years to come.
I'll mail the first 20 requests for one of these labels FREE! Only one label per request. Email your MAILING address to me at WCplace@gmail.com This label is really cute: spring green leaves with coral pink lettering. THESE RAN OUT QUICKLY but I hope you'll do a blessings bottle anyways. |
See my collection? Any sort of bottle will do but I'd suggest one that you can keep a pen and a stack of small scrap papers in. I use wide-mouth canning jars or old jelly or pickle jars. |
Blessings to you as you step into 2016 and the new chapters and stories the Lord will accomplish in the days ahead. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6 New Living Translation)

This is a wonderful idea. I have a basket that will be perfect for this. I'll make a label that I can tie to the sides. Thanks for sharing this, Ferree.
