This is the final month. Day by day, one step at a time, we will have read through the entire New Testament, most of the Psalms, Proverbs, and Ruth by Dec. 30. It's a great gift with more-than-we-can-imagine rewards. I congratulate you!
So-- finish well! This month we'll revisit the Christmas story of Jesus' birth and life through the eyes of Luke. We'll finish Psalm 119 which has girded us with the pre-eminence of God's Word as our truth standard.
The Psalm express corresponding inner emotional struggles, like how Jesus might have felt on the cross, or step of faith when the widow gave all she had in Luke 21. God doesn't leave us in a vacuum, He knows our hurts and challenges, our cries, screams, and low groaning. He won't leave us or forsake us.
God bless you in your daily Bible readings for December,
